What is NED Career Week?

Career-focused free event in Limerick, organised by NED College, exclusively for students. During the event, you will take part in workshops on the following topics: industry specific presentations and overall guidance. The event is free, and everyone will have the opportunity to learn from and hear from experts about the job market in Limerick across various fields.

How much does it cost to participate in the event?

Good news! The event is completely free of charge. However, we kindly ask each participant to bring 1 non-perishable food item for donation. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those in need.

What are the dates and times of the event?

The event is scheduled from November 6th to November 9th, between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

Where will NED Career Week take place?

The event will be held in the lounge area of Chapel House (Main Building), Limerick.

Is registration required to participate?

Yes, in this edition you only need to register once and you will have access for all days, simple as that.

Do I need to attend all days of the event?

No, the event will take place throughout the entire week, but you can attend specific days based on your interest. However, if you wish to participate in all the days, you are also welcome and encouraged to do so.

If you choose to attend all days, you will get a certificate of participation indicating your attendance to the NED Career Week and all the skills you gained through the Workshops.  

What should I bring to NED Career Week?

To participate in the event, you are required to bring 1 non-perishable food item for donation. If you attend all the days of the event, you only need to bring 1 non-perishable food item on one of the days. In other words, you don’t need to bring a non-perishable food item for each day of the event. The donations received will be delivered to Mid West Simon Community. This organization supports families in the city and has a serious and committed work with the community.

Can I participate even if I'm not a student at NED College?

Absolutely! We welcome everyone to participate in the event, regardless of whether you are a student at NED College or not. It's a great opportunity to connect, learn, and contribute to a good cause. Just remember to bring along 1 non-perishable food item for donation, and we'll be thrilled to have you join us.

What else will be featured at the event?

At the end of the week, attendees will have the chance to win vouchers and exclusive prizes, as well as sign up for professional courses offered by NED College at special discounts.
